Psychologist
Ash is a Psychologist with General Registration. Ash has extensive experience working with children, adolescents, adults and older adults in community and public settings. Throughout his career, Ash has supported individuals from all walks of life, with a wide range of psychological concerns, including trauma, depression, anxiety, phobias, relationship difficulties, and more.
Regardless of the presenting concern, Ash is committed to creating a non-judgmental environment where clients feel heard, safe, and respected. He values the unique journey of each individual and collaborates with them to set realistic and meaningful goals. Ash’s therapeutic approaches include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (TF-CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
Ash has a strong interest in working with adolescents and young adults, supporting them through the complexities of early life stages. He understands the importance of building rapport with young individuals and overcoming the barriers they face in accessing support.
Outside of work, Ash enjoys spending time with his dog and has a passion for nature and going for hikes, especially around the high-country region.
