Clinical Psychologist
Friederike Wahl is a Clinical Psychologist and has a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology. She is a Member of the Australian Clinical Psychology Association (ACPA). Friederike has worked in various research settings, in community mental health and in acute inpatient care with adults from 19 to 90 years old. She has also got experience in facilitating group therapy for Social Anxiety Disorder, Hoarding Disorder, acute psychosis and Borderline Personality Disorder. She has worked with people dealing with anxiety disorders, depression and other mood disorders and adjustment disorders. Her approach is client-centered and non-judgmental. She incorporates Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focussed Therapy (SFT) and elements of Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) in her work.
